Snacking Just Got ‘Way Better’ + Giveaway!

Snacking Just Got ‘Way Better’ + Giveaway!

As a mom and a decently healthy eater, I am constantly on the hunt for tasty and healthful snack options.  From our many exchanges on Facebook and Twitter, I know you are too!  Sometimes it’s really challenging to find a snack that hits all the trifecta of awesomeness: healthy, tasty to adults, and, most importantly, tasty to kids!  My new healthy snack fave? Way Better Snacks sprouted ingredient chips.  Oh, and you can win some by entering the giveaway at the end of the post!

Way Better Snacks goes above and beyond the awesome-snack trifecta.  Their sprouted ingredient chips are more than delicious, they’re gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO, and kosher!  You can’t beat that with a stick!  Well, you could and then you’d have crumbs and you’d be so sad.

Just so you know, I’m a savory girl.  I live for salty, meaty, yummy goodness.  I’ll take chips and salsa any day over dessert.  So, when my review kit came in from Way Better Snacks, I knew exactly what I had to do.

1.  Immediately open up a bag and start snacking

2.  Make guacamole

The first bag I shamelessly dug into was the Simply Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips.  My only complaint?  The bag was a pain to get open…or maybe I was impatient.  Who knows.  Regardless of the struggle, 10 minutes later the bag was 3/4 the way empty.  Thank goodness it was time to pick up La Grande from school, or I would’ve eaten the entire bag.

As soon as La Grande walked through the door, her eyes laser-locked on the box of Way Better Snacks and begins to jump up and down, “Can I have some, Mom?  Can I?  Can I?”

Back to the guacamole…we happened to have to haas avacados and cilantro on hand, so we opted for a fun approach to dinner tonight.

Homeskillet was late, so we improvised our dinner. Wholewheat quesadillas, fresh guacamole, apple sauce, and Simply No Salt Naked Blues Tortilla Chips.

We couldn’t leave Homeskillet out either.  Once he got home he immediately picked up the Simply So Sweet Chili Tortilla Chips.  As he bit down on his first chip I let him know they were GF (gluten-free).

Homeskillet: ” [I] would’ve never guessed they were gluten free!”

I loved these chips so much, I ran a bag of the Simply Sunny Multi-Grain Tortilla Chips over to my GF neighbor…I had to spread the wealth.  I know how challenging it can be for her to find great GF foods!

Are any of you GF or know someone who is?  Regardless if your GF of just a healthy snacker, these chips definitely get La Chica’s seal of approval.  I can’t wait to make some nachos with them…mmmm…nachos.

Way Better Snack Fun Fact? “Sprouted ingredients carry a surprising amount of nutritional value due to the nutrient-dense grans and seeds.  And, because they are germinated, the vitamins and minerals are more bio-available to the body.”

Way Better Snacks comes in 6 varieties: Simply Sunny Multi-Grain, Simply Sweet Potato, Simply Unbeatable Blues, Simply Beyond Black Bean, No Salt Naked Blues, and Simply So Sweet Chili.

Now that you’re thoroughly hungry, how about trying your hand at winning some of these A-MAZING chips?
